Job assignments can be managed in two ways; manually or by using HR Import. The following describes how to create, update, and delete job assignments manually.

Creating a job assignment
- Locate and select the user you want to create a job assignment for.
- Under Job assignments select Add job assignment.
- Add the job details.
- Select Add job assignment.
Updating a job assignment
- Locate and select the user you want to update a job assignment for.
- Under Job assignments select the job assignment you want to update.
- Update the job details.
- Select Update job assignment.
Deleting a job assignment
- Locate and select the user you want to delete a job assignment for.
- Under Job assignments select the Delete icon next to the job assignment you want to delete.
- Select Delete in the dialog to confirm deletion of the job assignment.
When deleting a job assignment you will be provided with information about the effects that will have on other users, for example if it will leave someone else without a manager or temporary manager.
It is also possible to delete job assignments via HR import, using the deleted column. You can read more in the job assignment section of the CSV file help page for HR import.
